Who We Are

DKVS is a society registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860, in 2016 having its registered office at Om Enclave, DKVS 1st Floor, Lane No 1, Doon University Rd, opposite Police Chowki, Dehradun, Uttarakhand 248012

DKVS is registered with the aim to increase the farmer income through various development schemes of Government, under which farmers are being trained for the use, production and marketing of aromatic and medicinal plants,

since past 9 years about 12500+ farmers have been organized by us where they are cultivating Lavender, Rosemary, Damask Rose, Dandelion, Oregano, and Thyme plants in 565 hac area in different districts of Uttarakhand and 32 ha area in different districts of Meghalaya and 155 ha area in different districts of Jammu.

Our Mision

To Promote the Aromatic and Medicinal Farming along with the traditional crops. To increase the per farmer income through the Aromatic and Medicinal Farming, as Rosemary, Dandelion, Thyme, Oregano, Damask Rose and Lavender plants are high value crops.

To connect more or more farmer and encourage them for the cultivation of aromatic and medicinal plants through the training campaign.Effectively expanding the cultivation of aromatic and medicinal plants as well as cultivation of kiwi, apple, walnut and other high-value fruits, which will help in reducing the problem of migration.To facilitate the farmers with new and modern agricultural techniques, which will help the farmers to save their time and energy.

To create new employment opportunities for the unemployed youth living in the villages, so that they do not have to migrate elsewhere to earn money for their livelihood and the villages remain inhabited.Develop the new crops in hilly regions, so that the new income sources can also create to the farmers. 

Our vision

Our organization is actively working to introduce and promote new exotic crops in the hilly regions of Uttarakhand to create additional income sources for farmers, supply quality raw materials to industries, and help save valuable foreign exchange through domestic production.

Alongside this, we are also focusing on the conservation and cultivation of endangered and indigenous species of Uttarakhand to safeguard the region’s unique flora and fauna. Special emphasis is being placed on the promotion and large-scale cultivation of rare crops such as Sea buckthorn, Timur, and other high-value Himalayan species.

These initiatives aim to generate local employment, particularly for rural youth, thereby reducing migration and ensuring that villages remain vibrant and economically sustainable.
